Hi-Tech Awards Celebrate Tech Success
The NZ Hi-Tech Awards celebrate New Zealand’s most successful high-tech companies and highest achieving individuals. This year the winners are being announced on May 20 at the Viaduct Events Centre during the Annual Hi-Tech Awards Gala Dinner.
Sponsoring the popular event this year is Vocus Communications; one of the fastest-growing telecommunications companies across Australia and New Zealand. From a start-up in 2008 to an ASX100 company with a market capitalisation of $4.8 billion this year, Vocus now own and operate the number 1 Trans-Tasman data, voice and Internet network.
“It’s a natural fit for Vocus to sponsor the awards this year – we’re an innovative business showing our support for emerging innovation in the tech space,” says Vocus NZ CEO Mark Callander. “It’s not so long ago we were one of the little guys, so it just goes to show how quickly things can change.”
“Many Vocus customers and partners are great innovators themselves and have been have been past award winners. We are proud to support the next generation of entrepreneurs by sponsoring the 2016 Hi-Tech Awards.”
